I am Your Village Doula.
I support you in your decisions on how you want to birth.
When you’re ready for a complimentary consultation, we will (over the phone or on Zoom) discuss your desires and intentions for your upcoming birth experience so I can customize my services to your needs, along with any questions you may have for me.
Upon signing the Labor Support Contract, I will be on call to answer questions and help with any concerns. We will also schedule a prenatal appointment, which happens around 34-37 weeks gestation.
The Prenatal Appointment is where we meet in the comfort of your home to discuss: birth preferences, go over any questions or feelings that have arrived since our consultation, dive deeper into educational support, etc.
Labor Support: I will meet you at home or at the birthing location, whichever you decide you want in-person support to begin. I am trained to provide evidence-based educational, emotional and physical support (multiple counter pressure techniques, visualization, vocalization, etc.) I will encourage beneficial movements and productive positional changes throughout your labor, as needed. I can include the birthing partner on how to provide support as well. Post Delivery I will remain with you for up to an hour and help with infant feeding.
I will also provide a one-hour postpartum visit within 10 days after the birth of the baby. I will answer any and all questions regarding the birth and care of the newborn.
